About Sunbarry
Sunbarry started with a simple question: why is there no umbrella that provably protects against UV radiation and is so beautiful that you love having it with you? This page is my answer.
Hi there,
Sun protection matters to me. And yet it does not always come easy: sunscreen is sticky, and hands, hairline, and neckline usually miss out.
The better solution has long been part of everyday life in Japan: the UV umbrella. Open it up, done. Instant shade, instant protection.
But beautiful ones were hard to find in Europe. So I started myself. The search became a passion project, and that project became Sunbarry.

What we stand for
Tested, not promised
Every umbrella variant has been independently tested to the European standard EN 13758-1. We publish the results openly, including all measured values.
Protection that looks good
An umbrella only protects when you actually have it with you. So we design umbrellas you love to pick up: thoughtful colors, lovely details, and light enough for any bag.
Honest with you
We also tell you what an umbrella cannot do: on long days in blazing sun, sunscreen and sunglasses still belong in the picture. In return, you can rely on what we promise.
